Easements

An easement is a right in respect of another’s land, which may be legal or equitable. 

This might be a positive easements, such as a right of way; or a negative easement such as a right of light. 

Even though this is a legal matter we are often asked to inspect a site and provide recommendations and comment on such issues. Parties often decide to create new easements and we can advise on suitable consideration payable in lieu of the grant.
