Edward H Perkins is a firm of Chartered Surveyors who specialise in all matters relating to rural property. We advise a wide range of clients including private individuals, public bodies, local authorities and national institutions.
Edward H Perkins is based at St John's House, Salutation Square, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, SA61 2LG.
Our surveyors work throughout south Wales and also travel further a field when our specialist skills are required. The firm offers the services of three qualified Chartered Surveyors, each of whom are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and fellows of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.
Edward Perkins is a consultant to the firm and has been practicing as a rural surveyor for over 40 years. He is well known in the rural surveying industry throughout the UK for his extensive work in agricultural valuation, landlord and tenant negotiations and agricultural policy. Edward is a valuer and agent for the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation. Edward was Appointed Lord Chancellor’s Panel of Agricultural Arbitrators 1981 and acts as an expert witness. He has written widely on many agricultural matters. In 2007 he served as the President of the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society.
Rodney Powell joined the firm in 2004 becoming a partner in 2006. A former Royal Agricultural College student, Rodney comes from a farming background and has an excellent understanding of practical farming issues. He undertakes a wide variety of work including property sales and lettings, valuations and compensation and pipeline work.
Kathryn Perkins joined the firm in 2007, following qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2005. After graduating from The Royal Agricultural College in 2002, she has travelled throughout New Zealand and Australia. Following this Kathryn worked for a land agent in Shrewsbury for 4 years before returning to her native Pembrokeshire. She has extensive experience in land management issues, planning and the Single Payment Scheme. She recently joined the partnership in April 2009.
From September 2010, the business is pleased to accounce that Carwyn Rees, will be joining the staff. Carwyn, from a farming background in the Llandovery area, is spending time with the firm as part of his placement from Harper Adams University College. He is currently studying Rural Land Management at the College.
